The best jobs without a 4-year degree in 2015

A new list from CareerCast shows there are alternatives routes to landing a career without earning a four-year college degree.

While a Georgetown University study shows workers with degrees make about 84 percent more in their lifetimes compared to those with only a high school diploma, CareerCast said there’s hope for residents who seek a less-traditional career path without accruing student loan debt.

“Starting a career without a degree may be unconventional, but succeeding in the workplace without one is far from impossible,” says Tony Lee, publisher of CareerCast. “An entrepreneurial spirit and specialized training can help overcome the lack of a four-year degree.”
